Chuck box enhancements

We performed a couple enhancements to the truck box. The first was to allow it to slide in and out of the trailer without tearing up the bottom or the sides of the box. Second was to reinforce the handles which were attached with, what I consider, tiny screws. The box gets pretty heavy when full and I didn't want to drop on my foot or someone else. For this we use 1/4 inch by three-quarter inch bolts and nuts on the inside.

Extra fuel solution

We mounted a 4 gallon Rotopax today.
There is plenty of room to fit another one on top so we have a couple 2 gallons on the way here now. If you are (very) terrible at math, that will be 8 plus the stock 20. If we average 10 miles per gallon we'll get 280 total miles. We do pull a trailer and usually average about 13-14 when we don't rush. Of course in four wheel drive and on dirt that average would become even worse, hence the 10mpg guesstimate.
Whatever the mileage that extra 8 gallons is a welcome addition.
